The day the
Christian right-wing conservative movement went on
the defense, was the day the liberals became greatly
armed. Ever since that day the liberals have managed
to move the mark inch by inch.
Conservatives need to
take control, we need to disarm the liberals. There is nothing
more disarming, than to look a person threatening you, right in
the face and say to them, "Do it. Right now. Do it!" God says that
the fear of man is a snare. So our first step is to trust that
God will show us a way out of our troubles.
Some liberals are
seeking to push a hate-speech bill into law. Such a law
would greatly infringe on Americans' freedom of speech. I say
to them, 'go for it, give it your best shot.' They simply do
not scare me, because my God reigns.
Equally disarming to
our enemies is to go on the offense. Scripture says that in
Christ, we are more than conquerors. One cannot conquer a thing,
while one is on the defense. And the best way to go on the offense
is to put your adversary in a play called by you, a play that
involves much greater complexity than he can handle--one
that cannot be won by a
single slam-dunk.
These Scripturally
based instructions need to be
heeded
- Clever as a serpent and
gentle as a lamb
- Do not take council from the ungodly
or sit with the scorners or stand in the way of sinners.
-
Have nothing to do with evil works of darkness, but rather expose
them.
- Darkness has nothing in common with
light.
- Come out from
among evil doers.
- Put the wicked out from among us.
-
Do not fret over evil doers who prosper in their ways, but keep
doing what God wants us to do.
- God uses all things for
our good and to His glory.
- What Satan means for evil, God means
for good.
- Trust in the Lord with all our heart, lean not
on our own understanding, in every way acknowledge Him and
He
shall direct our
path.
A prayer that God
will heal our land, keeps me in a steadfast belief
that God is going to do just that.
Check out
these descriptive phrases; 'perverted people,' 'unnatural
behavior(s),' 'sexually sinful,' 'other than one man one
woman,' 'vile affections' and 'unseemly behavior in the
eyes of God.'
The hate speech bill
cannot touch these phrases, they are simply too broad. Such phrases
include ALL sexual sin. Also, how many people will want to
admit to being, 'perverted people,
who practice unnatural behavior of sexually sinful,
a behavior that is unseemly in the eyes of God?'
Not needing to use
particular words disarms the liberals
and enables conservatives to stay focused on
the entirety-of-the-reason to stop the hate speech bill from
being passed into law. The focus of the hate speech bill needs
to be on the grounds that such a law would abridge us from our
Constitutional rights, stated in the 1st amendment. We must not
argue the need for the 1st amendment, but the need to
uphold it.
Amendment 1 -
Freedom of Religion, Speech, and the Press; Rights of Assembly and
Petition (ratified December 15, 1791)
Congress shall
make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting
the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of
the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to
petition the government for a redress of
grievances.
When a plaintiff brings
suit against a defendant, the plaintiff has one piece of evidence
that no matter what else happens in court, he can go back to and
rely on. The first amendment is our one piece of evidence to be
stood on. We need to stand strong and united. And we need to
educate others on this.
God says "My people
perish for lack of knowledge." We need to inform other Christians of
what is going on. But we need to do so calmly and trusting in God.
We cannot present the information to anyone in a state of
panic. The truth of the matter is, we have nothing to panic
over--our hope is in the Lord.
Do we want a country
that puts limits on our 'free' speech, by denying us our right
to speak against certain topics?
Contact your US
Reprehensive in Congress and your two Senators and
tell them that you expect them to uphold the US Constitution,
which they swore an oath to defend. Tell them that it is your right
to hate that which you hate and to speak against whatever that may
be. Tell them that hate-speech laws will abridge you from your
freedom of speech, which is protected by the 1st amendment of the US
Constitution and that you expect them to defend your right or you
will not vote for them next election.

detests, is evil. Hating that which God hates, is
good."
