What Can Be Done? |

|
While
searching the web for information on water, I came across a blog in
Spanish. I found the picture of the little girl on the left; the
name of the picture had the word, "hambre." I googled the word and
found a page on it. I clicked to translate it into English. It came
up, "hunger." That page had the picture of the little girl on the
right. I have two daughters, and I just could not imagine not having
had enough food to feed them when they were little. My heart is
breaking over here. I so badly want to find this little girl and
give her food and clothing and hugs and raise her, love her, and
care for her. What can be done? Can regular people like you and I do
anything about the hungry children?

Putting all of the comments together, I have reached a
conclusion to my question. Yes, something can be done. First,
we must help right in our own commnunities, through our
church and local "Bread and Thread". And a great organization
for outside of the U.S. is: Compassion
International. |
Mt 19:14 But
Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come
unto me: for of such is the kingdom of
heaven. |
