Matt: My wife and kids were,
were threatened, my home life was disrupted it was just a nightmare. Just
to put on a support the troops rally.
Debra: Oh my Golly, well, here is
something to keep in mind for anybody who is listening to this in archive
wanting to know what we are saying, keep this in mind folks your BTR
accounts can be subpoenaed and we can find out who you are if you do cause
us problems like what Matt just described, if you, if somebody
participates in illegal activity, and if they, slandering,
threatening, you know, libel, all that’s illegal activity and all it takes
is a lawyer, that’s all it takes is a lawyer to subpoena a person’s online
account
Matt: and my
lawyer is an Arab, and he is pissed anyway so be
careful
Bob: Here is a big thing, I’ve
told this to Deb before, I have even told this to Angie, I’ve told this to
everybody and I have even said this on the air on Deb’s show, I have sat
there and said plenty of times you know, Deb’s given enough respect by
not, not mentioning their names, and you don’t talk about the sake of
slander, now here’s the big thing, it’s not slander when it’s the truth
and Deb does tell the truth. She gives them enough courtesy, not
to mention their names.
Debra: There’s a few reasons I don’t
normally mention names, one, I don’t want to be like they are, I
don’t want to just do it for the sake of doing it, and two, I don’t want
to give them advertisement, and three, I don’t want to get kicked off of
BTR. Ya know, I'll be honest.
Matt: When I’m talking about
the captain whoever, on America rising, I could be talking about anybody,
so you can’t say anything about what we are saying because A: I'm are
telling the truth, and B: I’m not mentioning any names. So, you can't do
anything.
Debra: But the people who slander
us, the people who trash us, like the people who started that stupid story
claiming I beat my daughter when she was a teenager, that’s libel. I mean
technically, if I had wanted to, I could have gotten a lawyer and said
listen here, listen to the audio of this.
Jimmy
z: How sad is
that?
Debra:
Yeah and
I could have asked my lawyer to subpoena the persons account, if for no
other reason to scare the crud out of them. At least then, see, I believe
I have the right to know who a person is, who is slandering me. I believe
I have that right. And if somebody threatens me, I have been threatened
online; I believe I have a right to know who it is. And if I wanted to, I
could have my lawyer simply subpoena their account. A lawyer would be
within his rights if he saw proof and heard proof, you know like this
audio of somebody slandering another person, a lawyer could legally
subpoena the account and if for no other reason than to just know who it
is. Because, because you know especially when threats, like you
said you’re your family was threatened Matt, you could have a lawyer
subpoena that person’s account at least to know who the person is, if for
no other reason for protection.
Matt: There’s no feeling to
describe, the feeling that you get, there’s no way to describe it, when
you have a five year old and one year old and somebody directly
threatens them, I simply say give me your address, because I will do, I
will go pulp fiction on your ass.
Debra:
Well the
thing is, the one thing you have, this is what I tell people. When they
start to threaten me, I say, well ok that’s pretty stupid of
you because I now will put your name on a list, because if
anything ever happens to me, they’re going to be who the police go
knocking on the doors. They’re going to be, you know, because as an
activist I keep a list of people who, who have crossed the line. Over on
AOL, they found out where I lived, posted it online, found out where my
oldest daughter was going to college, posted it online, that’s Stalking.
And so I keep track,..

Debra: See? Now that’s stalking, and
so, what you end up telling the person is, at the very least you tell the
person, listen if you keep this up I will have my lawyer subpoena
your account and your, and your hiding will no longer be, because then
we’ll know who you are.

z: Let me say one
other thing, if I own, let’s say I own, a website, a fictitious
website called political chat.com and I have three or four chat rooms
in there, they’re conservative, liberal, and a couple of rooms where
people battle it out from both sides and people type in all kinds of
things and they get ticked off at each other and they start stalking
each other if I don’t, if I don’t engage rules, that protect people as
best I can from being stalked and have their personal information posted
at my website I’m responsible too.
Debra:
Yes
Matt: What we’re saying is,
what we’re saying is if, if you want to go after us and post little things
about our shows or us, you better watch yourself, because we are
keeping track, we’ve done this from the beginning, that’s exactly why all
of the handles got cancelled right away because we actually do our
research. We want to know who is behind it, so you better be
careful. You can say the Buffman and Wrench show sucks and dissuade
people from listening to it, but you better stop soon after that. Because
I’m smart enough to find out who you are.
Debra: Legally, and have a lawyer do
it the legal way.
Matt: it’s not always going
to be legal I’ll warn you now, it’s not always going to be legal.
Debra: But here’s the
thing,
Matt: What I do to you, what I do
to you is not always going to be legal, it’s not always going to be legal.

glad to point out here that Matt Buff speaks for himself.
Matt: Yes, I speak for
myself, when I catch you, you are going to wish that police, just forget
it, I’m just
Debra: Well threatening a one year
old and a five year old, what do they expect? Of course they’re going to
tick the father off.
Matt: Just a little
bit
Debra: Your going to threaten a one
year old and five year old? You should have seen me when they were,
basically that was a threat, with my daughter because there’s only
one reason to post where a girl goes to college. There is only one reason
that an enemy would post that. That's a threat. That's like, "We
know where she is." That's what they're trying to
say.
Jimmy z:
That’s right.
They’re trying to intimidate you from speaking your mind on the internet.
Debra:
Yes. And
now this is another thing that I want to say here. A lot of people will
say, "Well, just get off the internet." And it's like, hello, that's
what harassment is...
Jimmy

right
Debra: ...when they harass you to
the point where you don't go into a public place, that’s what
harassment is.
Jimmy
z: That’s
right
Debra: And yet here
these people will say to comply, basically with your harassers;
get off the internet. This is America. We are not supposed to have to
go hide in our houses because someone threatens our life. What are
they thinking?
