I am a nondenominational
born-again believer in Christ.
The true Christian
church goes back to Jesus Christ, despite all of the
many false teachings and false churches, the true church
has continued. Jesus said, "Marvel not that I say, ye
must be born again." It is written.
Jesus is the
Rock, the truth that the church was built on.
Jesus is Lord God, The
Risen Savior and only way. He is the Word made flesh.
He is one with the Father. (Father, Son, Holy Ghost -
One
God)
I hummed "Amazing Grace," while on the
floor, from a ruptured appendix. Satan was having a
field day with me, taunting me about God. So, I began
praising God with "Amazing Grace."
Later I asked my husband if he knew what I
was humming. He told me that all I was doing was
moaning.
What was heard as moaning to my husband
was actually me, praising the Lord.
I did not die that day, obviously. But if
I had died, I would have gone out of this world and into
heaven, praising the Lord.
Never underestimate a dying person's
moans.

3:7
But they that wait upon the LORD shall
renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as

walk, and not
faight.

"Life
never gets easier. We can only get better at dealing with
it.
It's hard work, but better we deal with it
now, than suffer through it
later!"
Married since 1983, my
husband Tim and I have two daughters. It was my
blessing to home school them. They are both grown
and in science. Jessica has a bachelor degree in
biochemistry, a masters in chemistry and is
currently working on her doctorate. Becky
has a bachelors in chemistry and is currently
working on her masters and doctorate.
I am an
example of what God can do with the least. No one is
more surprised with God's use of me, than I am.
Just as with raising my daughters, my activism and
ministry are to my own surprise. I never claim to know
it all. I am just doing the best with what I do know and
trying to learn that which I don't know.
www.DebraJMSmith.com was founded
in 2006 and is actually the main site for www.InformingChristians.com, which
points directly to it. I bring as much
information as possible to you, the reader. But
there is more than just writing that is going on. It is
my goal to do my part in bringing America back to the
soaring eagle that she once was, one nation
under God.
www.AmericansForFreedomOfInformation.com is
another site that I am blessed to have. Please
note that I had nothing to do with the AP email that
went out, claiming to be from an organization by this
name. The email actually went out before the site
began on, May eleventh, two
thousand-nine.
You will find posts of
mine, on many blogs. However I do not endorse
any of the sites that they are on. I have found that
most site owners go along with things that I cannot be
party to. I am on those blogs to connect with the people
on the various topics.
Also
note that, though there are mentions of
and excerpts from other right-wing sites on my
site, and my work appears on other right-wing sites, as
well, I do not endorse all that is on any site that is
not my own. This, too, is because other site owners
promote things that I do not.
I
don’t walk a fence, trying to get everyone to like
me. Some may not like that I take a stand for what
I believe in, but most will like that they know
just where that stand is. You will find the same person,
only a lot wiser, as some knew as Pinkpearls3737 in an AOL Christian
forum, years ago. (The underlined is a link.) And here
is the article that tells that story: Click

I
love the Catholic, but I am a Protestant. I can respect
the person, but not the belief system. Protestantism is
that which is in "protest" of Catholicism, just as true
Catholicism is against Protestantism. We can respect a
person, without respecting his faith-belief, and or part
of his faith-belief. If I say that I respect that which
goes against my faith belief, I would be a
hypocrite.
The color
scheme that is on the sides of this
page is from the colors of an eagle, painted by my
Catholic grandfather, who was married to my Catholic
grandmother. It is my hope that they both believed
simply and only on Jesus Christ and that I will see them
in heaven. Here is the article on the multi colored
eagle:Click Here --And here is an
article on if Catholics can be born again in Christ: Click Here
Yes, I do believe
that many born again Christians call themselves
"Catholic." However, I believe that such is in spite
of what the Catholic church teaches, has
done, is doing, and will
do.
Protestantism
is only part of what I am. I am actually a
nondenominational born-again believer in Christ. The
type of church that I go to is a line-upon-line bible
teaching church. My family in Christ goes back to Jesus
Christ, close to 400 years before the RCC (Roman
Catholic Church) came to be. I have the same faith
belief that Peter, Paul and Mary would have had. Jesus
said, "Marvel not that I say, ye must be born
again."
Along with political articles, you
will also find, on my site, Biblical studies,
poetry and quotes. And it is my hope to have educational
materials available
soon.
I
retain all rights to and ownership of my work.
This includes work of mine that is posted elsewhere. --I
just don't get why someone would think otherwise.
It's
God and me on this trip. He is my reason for doing
this. God has shown me very clearly, that
to live is Christ. Psalm 37 is my
direction. Sometimes the latest shock to my
Pollyanna spirit catches me off guard. But, eventually,
I suck it up and move forward and chalk it all up to the
evils of this world. That usually begins with
me huggin' someone and then
going to bed and pulling my covers up over my
head.

An
uneducated society is easily controlled by the few. God
says in Scripture, "My people perish for lack of
knowledge." --Let's get educated, America. And let's
never stop getting educated. If you cannot understand
the Constitution, then you are not educated in the
basics of being an American citizen. A lot of people
THINK they understand the Constitution, when they don't.
A sure sign that a person does NOT understand the
Constitution is that the person calls it "A living
document." The Constitution is a legally binding
contract. If a person can understand the English
language, he/she can understand the U.S.
Constitution.
"On
every question of construction, carry ourselves back to
the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect
the spirit manifested in the debates and instead of
trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text or
invented against it, conform to the probable one in
which it was passed." --Thomas
Jefferson
The
mess that this country is in, is what happens when
Democrats vote in idiots who do not understand the first
thing about the U.S. Constitution, much less their oath
to uphold it. But on the same hand, this is what happens
when Republicans vote in complacent lazy loaf-offs who
do not understand much of the U.S. Constitution
themselves, much less THEIR oath to defend
it.
