If you know how to google, then you know how to find names and addresses. This really is simple.

Let's say that you want a list of all the people that signed a certain petition in your town. Simply google your town and state, this will bring up your town's website. Once you are there, look for a contact link or a particular office, like the Town Clerk's office. On that page, you should see a phone number, a street address, and possibly an email address.

Let's say that you want information from a town in another state. Just google that town, and call that town clerk to get information. If he/she cannot help you, he/she should be able to point you to someone who can. The same goes for city halls and Governor's offices. Sometimes, people will give you info right over the phone.

It's really not hard in the least to get names and addresses. If worse comes to worse, dial 411. You can go in person to obtain the information, as well.
