There
was a day, when New York was seen as "Freedom." Yet today,
New York has far fewer freedoms than other
states in the union.
Though, I was born here, my
parents did not bring me back to live here, till I was seven years
old. I never quite got rid of my Oklahoma accent, and up until 9/11,
I had never gotten rid of wanting to go back. I finally prayed that
if the Lord did not move my family out of New York, that He would
give me what is needed to help change New York back to what she once
was --a free state that did not follow bad leadership, a state that
led.
Today, I will meet with a state senator. It is my hope to put forth a bill that would make it law
for a presidential candidate to prove qualification, as per the
Constitution, to get placed on our state ballot. It should not
be that we would have a constitutional law, but no one responsible
for it.
No
person except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United
States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be
eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be
eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of
thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the
United States. --U.S. Constitution
It
is known that Barack Hussein Obama does not qualify,
yet our nation's government, sworn to "preserve,
protect and defend the Constitution of the United States," is
looking the other way. Let's change this and begin with New
York.
