The Enemy's Closing In On All Sides -
Do You Think It's Time For Us To
Pray?
God
is the same, yesterday, today and forever. God said to His people,
thousands of years ago, 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are
called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
The enemy is closing in on us. And I could run down a list
of things, from our health care being taken over, to jobs disappearing, to Mosques being built at
ground zero and the flight 93-memorial site. Or I could call on
all of God's people to pray.
Today, in this day of
Grace, God's people are all who worship Him in Truth, through His
only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Those of us who believe on and have
received Jesus Christ, Lord God, the Risen Savior, alone for
our salvation; we are God's people. And it is we who are called by
His name. It is we who are to humble ourselves and pray and seek
God's face and turn from our wicked ways. Then God will hear from
heaven and will forgive our sin and will heal our land.
So,
I ask you, dear fellow Christians; do you think it's time for us to
pray?
