If taking advantage of the oil crisis was the
plan -
It Just Got Totally Blown Out of The
Water

Yahoo News, AP NEW ORLEANS – A federal judge struck down the Obama
administration's six-month ban on deepwater oil drilling in the Gulf
of Mexico on Tuesday, saying the government rashly concluded that
because one rig failed, the others are in immediate danger, too: Click Here
Commentary: "Never let a
serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an
opportunity to do things you couldn't do before." This
is the infamous statement, spoken by obama's chief of
staff, Rahm Emanuel. It appears Obama took the statement to heart
and is running with it, in this new crisis.
Many
people, like myself, believe that Obama has been taking advantage of
the oil crisis in order to stop off-shore drilling. Obama's
six-month ban on deep-water oil drilling, which could
have been the final nail in our economic crisis, was preceded
by his lack of quick action to the oil crisis and his blocking of
foreign help with the crisis.
Obama blocked foreign help,
being unwilling to grant a permit for them to be in our waters, as
the union backed Jones Act requires a waver in such cases: Click Here --Bush waived it to receive
foreign help with the Katrina crisis.
Congressman Joe
Barton was correct in issuing an apology to BP CEO Tony Hayward for
Obama having bullied the company into paying out twenty-billion
dollars in a slush fund, to help people who are having financial
hardships due to the oil crisis. Until there is a trial, it will not
be known how much responsibility our own country bears, considering
how poorly Obama has handled the aftermath of the
crisis.
