Commentary: Great men and women, throughout history have looked to the Bible for answers.
"And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? or do we imagine we no longer need its assistance? I have lived, Sir, a long time; and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this Truth, that God governs in the Affairs of Men. And if a Sparrow cannot fall to the Ground without his Notice, is it probable that an Empire can rise without his Aid?" -- Benjamin Franklin (Motion for Prayer
s in the Constitutional Convention, 28 June 1787)
God said of people's relationship with Israel, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
Now, heathens can stand out in the open, with their eyes closed tight, their hands over their ears, yelling, "lalalalalalalala I can't hear you!" all they want. But that which is, is.
And as for me and my house, we shall honor the Lord. He says to bless Israel, bless Israel, is what we shall do. If you are a true believing Christian, I suggest you do the same. This nation will surely fall, if we (as a nation) ever turn our back on Israel
