Why Cults Can Appear To Be So Holy -- But Cannot Carry Through
From Catholicism to Mormonism

Outwardly they appear so holy. Their lips seem to be so close to God. But over and over again, their actions prove otherwise. And over and over again, real Christians wonder why such people do not stay true to their religion, even though their religion is not of the Lord.

Please read the following three verses from 2 Corinthians, chapter 11: 13-14 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." And verse 15, "Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

What we learn in these three verses is that people who are not the Lord can transform themselves into what appears to be apostles of Christ. This scripture tells us that Satan himself can appear as an angel of light, so it should not shock us that his ministers can also be transformed to appear as ministers of righteousness. --Yes, it really is that simple.
