The One World Church:
I
recently found an article online by the very
astute writer, Joseph Chambers, of Pawcreek
Ministries. Take a look at the following quote
from an article of his:

The World’s Response To The Rapture (see
the link at the bottom of this page), "There are
not many religious leaders left that do not have a
growing distaste for Bible-believing
fundamentalism. Every major religious trend has
served to build a consensus against what is being
called “narrow-minded fundamentalism.” Building a
broad-based movement to bring the Catholic, the
Evangelical, and the Pentecostals together demands
that no theology is important enough to divide the
church world.
We now have a religious
atmosphere that drives the fundamental truths to
the back room. That is the crowd that is going to
be the Raptured saints. It would be a great relief
to many religious personalities if we would just
disappear. We will!"
It hit me while
reading the article that this is why I have come
up against so much opposition to my firm, strong
biblical fundamental beliefs that exclude all
faith-beliefs that are contraire to the
bible, by so many people who call themselves,
"Christians," many of whom I am quite certain
are.
It hit me that if a person, even a
true born again Christian, is not solidly anchored
in the Word of God, that he or she could be easily
swayed to believe that it is a Godly unity to
unite all religions that call themselves,
"Christian."
The bible teaches of a
one-world church in the end times. It is
happening; the building of that one world church
has begun. And many true Christians are falling
into it.
Scripture teaches us to not be
"children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of
men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in
wait to deceive." The only way that we will not be
such is to get into the word of God and be solidly
grounded in His word.
Suddenly, I realize
that in order for the one-world religion to come
to be, the faiths that call themselves,
"Christian" will first come together. Suddenly, I
realize how people like myself who will not
comply, will be seen as trouble and not wanting
"unity." Suddenly, I am so deeply concerned for so
many people who I have come to love who are
conforming to this one church ideology. Suddenly I
realize how it is all going to unfold in the first
half of the tribulation period after the true
church has been raptured, before the anti-Christ
demands such complying of the entire
world.
