The
Real Issue of What Was Said Against Stay-At-Home Moms Them
Dems Just Don't Get It!
Democrats
are totally out of touch with financial concerns of stay-at-home
moms. Stay-at-home moms normally already have less money to
spend on the family's needs, because the household has only one
income. A
bad economy can be extremely hard for stay-at-home
moms.
A bad economy often forces stay at
home moms to leave their family at night and take on a part time
job, after having worked all day at home. And most stay at home moms
are so committed to being there for their children, they do not want
to leave their children, even at night.
A bad economy can be
a lot of pressure on a stay-at-home mom. Between trying to make ends
meet and feeling the guilt if she does take on a night job and
feeling the guilt if she doesn't, a bad economy is horrid on a
stay-at-home mom.
As
a mom who stayed home with her home-schooled daughters, I know first
hand that a bad economy is hard on us stay-at-home moms. We spend a
lot of time doing what ever we can in order to make ends meet, so
that we can be home with our children as much as
possible.
Just a side note: New York would have paid roughly
$400,000.00 to school our daughters (who are now grown and in grad
school), had we put them in public school. It would help the economy
to encourage more moms to stay home and school their children at
home. However, the teachers unions would be livid. I say, "too bad
for them."
