Constitution Doesn't Matter To IL Rep. Phil

When
questioned about the constitutionality of the health care bill,
Illinois Democrat Congressman Phil Hare said that the
constitution does not matter to him. And he said that he
believes it says we have the right to life, liberty and the
pursuit of happiness. --How interesting that these words matter to
the democrats for health care, but they mean nothing to
most of them, when it comes to the unborn.
Of course those words are in the
Declaration of Independence, which I do believe are upheld by the
U.S. Constitution. However a right to life does not mean
that our government has the power to force socialized medicine
on us. I guess the democrats in office, feel that we have
freedom of choice for our bodies, but not our wallets and
budgets.
When the
congressman was pushed to tell where the Constitution gives the
power for the bill, he admitted that he does not
know
