When I
first heard about the possibility of Muslims being exempt from
Obama-Care (click here), I thought about how people, left and
right are going to claim to be Muslim. --This is not to mention
that this would be saying that a person has to become Muslim to have
such freedom.
But here's the thing. From what I know
their exemption would be on the grounds that having
this health insurance is considered to be gambling. And
yet, supposedly Obama-Care is a "sure thing." Of course we
conservatives have known all along that it is a gamble with our
lives. So what gives?
If Muslims get away with being
exempt on such grounds, then that means that the government is
concluding that Obama-Care is in fact, a gamble. So, since I
don't believe Christianity allows for gambling either; I will
seek to be exempt on the same
grounds.
