Many liberals defend the Islamic desire to live under Sharia law in our country, and I just don't get it. It is perhaps the greatest oxymoron ever.
Liberals support and are largely made up of women who came out of the women's liberation. Yet here are so many of them, supporting Muslims in the endeavor to have Islamic law, right here in America, which degrades women down to the level of living property that can even be killed.
Then there is the number of homosexuals and homosexual supporters who make up a large segment of the liberals. Christianity offers grace and forgiveness and cleansing from the sin of homosexuality, a changed life. Islamic law offers death. Yet many liberals, who support homosexuals, also support Islamic law.
And here we are, the freest nation on earth, having courts that are messing around with sharia law. One most recently is in Florida. The idea is that if Muslims want to live under sharia law, that our courts will forgo the law of our land and try Islamic cases under sharia law. This is illegal and unconstitutional, to say the least. Why would any liberal support this! And why is there no outcry from the liberal left, over this!
Google, "Florida Judge Orders Muslims To Follow Sharia Law." Read up on this. And start asking people where's the liberal outrage! It just makes no sense. Truly, what is wrong with this picture!
