Post Shows "Slaughter's Solution" Was Passed On To Pelosi, After All

I don't know about you, but I want some answers
here!
Today, (click here) Lori Montgomery and Paul Kane of the
Washington Post online, reported the following:
Pelosi (D-Calif.) would rely on a procedural
sleight of hand: The House would vote on a more popular package of
fixes to the Senate bill; under the House rule for that vote,
passage would signify that lawmakers "deem" the health-care bill to
be passed.
If that sounds familiar, (click here) it is because that was the idea that
was put forth by my congresswoman, Louise Slaughter, last
Thursday. Then on Friday her office issued a statement to
my local cable news, YNN, stating, "The real Slaughter solution will
come when the Congresswoman makes sure the health care bill gets a
vote. That's the solution the American people are looking for." --If
the Washington Post article is correct, then that means Slaughter
did pass on the suggestion to Pelosi, after all. If this takes
place, I will make sure that other constituents in this 28th New
York district know exactly who proposed the idea, originally. We
need her voted out!
