Pulls 180 Turn On New Rule

The first
person to break the news to me about my congresswoman's plans for a
"new rule," which quickly became called "Slaughter's Solution," was
not ABC, NBC or CBS. It was my friend Jimmy of the internet radio
show, The
Jimmy Z Show. And I knew not to even bother with any of those
three networks, when I called our local cable news, YNN.
I
knew that if anyone would do a story on this, it would be YNN. I was
correct. And did a story, they sure did.
After my having
notified the news source, they went right onto the internet and
found the facts. Within just hours, they were interviewing people
and calling Louise Slaughter's office for a comment. And they
received one.
The comment was a full 180 degree turn
from Slaughter's Solution and went as follows: "The real
Slaughter solution will come when the Congresswoman makes sure the
health care bill gets a vote. That's the solution the American
people are looking
for."
